Beers Of The Beano - Monday 30 September 2024
The trouble with quality Beano plans is that they often change. Like Saturday, for instance. An emergency sleep in, purchased some compost, planted some Summer Onion Sets and some Oktoberfest bottles from Aldi.
Back in the game, on Monday. Last day of the month and payday. Newport and Rogerstone again. The first bus out of Bedwas and Costa Coffee for breakfast where I couldn’t log onto the WiFi.
Monday Club in The John Wallace Linton at £1.49 a Pint for Cask Ales. WiFi fine there.
Incorrect price. Non Monday Club.

Added to the go to list - £3.45 a can
Actually going to get onto the 10:25 151 to Blackwood, getting off at Rogerstone.
It rained later
Apple Maps public transport directions were spot on once again. Only 10 minutes early this time, the best that I could do.
Those who know, know
Nice and quiet on a Monday. Turns out there is 5G on O2 as well.
Ready to rain
Only Hacker Pschorr & TR own brew on representing Oktoberfest. This has happened before with other venues. The biers are rather popular.
Was going to sit up here but I changed my mind
Anyway, no queue at the bar, so I decided to go sessionable.
