Here we are half through November and the Spoons Christmas menu is out but there seems to be a lack of Luxury Festive Mince Pies. Only a half day Beano in Newport today. Looking after the pennies ready for Christmas. Problems with the Daily Tech News Show rss feed. It’s turning into workaround Saturday.

Newport station and time for a Cappuccino and Bacon Roll. A bit chilly. However, I was able to log onto the WifI.

Post Coffee and Good Day Internet, it was on to the John Wallace Linton for 08:00. There was a queue and some Horse Racing fans. Also the Christmas Lights were being turned on later. There was a Christmas Real Ale on, so that was Number 01.

Rosey Nosey - Batemans - 4.9% ABV. B+ and a bit, malty, fruity with a hint of spice. Rich finish with a hint of bitterness #ale #beer #bier

And that was mostly it for the Cask Ales, so cans.
However, still Festive.
Sometimes only the Pen and Wig will do despite it’s iffy WiFi.

Hammerstone IPA - Bluestone - 4.5% ABV. B+, malty, fruity with a little sweetness. A hint of fruity bitterness in the finish #ale #beer #bier
3/5. Pleasant but maybe just going over. Dogs and tennis balls in the Pen and Wig #Newport Grey no rain (yet).
