Beers Of The Beano - Saturday 20 July 2024
2024 is definitely the year of living in interesting times. Will Wetherspoons be taking cards, will it hammer down with rain and will my Tesco ClubCard work. These are the big questions I am asking this Saturday. Update no problems with cards both in Costa Coffee and The John Wallace Linton.
The review
Bear Ass - Beartown - 4.0% ABV. B+ and a touch, nicely balanced, malty body with a gentle, pleasing lingering finish #ale #beer #bier
3.1/5 - It’s one of those when tech goes wrong and it’s your fault days. Wish I had brought my laptop but all sorted now.
So Spoons have regional craft ale cans. Some are very good and some are only so so. The main problem is the lack of rotation, some have been on the menu for three years. However, if you are lucky the you local Spoons will order in cans from another region and that’s what happened in The John Wallace Linton.
