Devil’s Bridge IPA - Kirkby Lonsdale - 5.2% ABV. B++, big and bitter with citrus hoppiness and a hint of apple. Long and lingering bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.5/5. Day 02 of #mb01 in Chippenham and starting off in The Bridge House. Working my way through the fridge.

Pastry really

Brownie Hunter - Wilde Child - 4.9% ABV. B+ and a bit and a touch. There is a lot of chocolate with a pastry stout base #ale #beer #bier

3.4/5. Good, almost great but not quite. Chocolate pastry finish with just a hint of bitterness. Nicely different #mb01

Flex - Siren Craft Brew - 5.3% ABV. B+ and a bit and a touch. Big and Hoppy, fruity and sharp with notes of pine and resin. Citrus, bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.4/5. Very easy drinking and drinking very well. Untappd stats looking much better on this Beano. Waverley next.

The good news was The Waverley was only 5 minutes away and easy to find. It was still freezing, even at midday.

Sat in the corner in the window on the left.

The Waverley, completely as described. Open from 12:00, 7 days a week. Need to go back.

Irrelephant - Electric Bear - 3.7% ABV. B+ and a bit, really hoppy, gently fruity and cool and refreshing. Gentle fruity, bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.3/5. First time at The Waverley #Chippenham. Already a Winner. Great selection of Craft Ales and really friendly staff #mb01

20 up and 20 down on the WiFi. Good enough for Untappd.

The Waverley Pale - New Bristol Brewery - 4.8% ABV. B++, fruity and full with hints of citrus. Very positive with gentle fruity, bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.5/5. Really good ale and extremely pleasing. Everyone has Arctic clothing on outside. Waiting for Spring and drinking outside.

French Martini - Vocation - 4.5% ABV. B++, fruity with raspberries on the nose. Huge Full Fruited Body. Raspberry, vanilla with a bittersweet fruity finish #ale #beer #bier

3.5/5. Finally appearing on the Untappd screen at The Waverley #Chippenham. Sour Sundays are the way forward #mb01

Light-Year - Hop Kettle - 5.2% ABV. B+ and a bit. An IPL that’s more like an IPA. Malty and very hoppy. Dry with bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.3/5. With the last of the day. Thoughts turn to the next Mini Beano. Birthday Beano no doubt. Beano while you can.
