Beers Of The Beano - Wednesday 17 April 2024
An Emergency Wednesday Beano to Newport. The best day for it because of MacBreak Weekly and of course Daily Tech News Show / Good Day Internet. An earlier departure so that I can get the 50 not the 50A. Hey Stagecoach, thanks for the timetable change. A chilly start but dry.
Arriving early for my bus and it wasn’t on the app and then the previous bus shows up. Happy days and as I was arriving in Newport earlier, I went to Starbucks after finding £4.50 on my Starbucks app. Turns out the day wasn’t as dry as I had hoped.
Via the Newport Arcade to The John Wallace Linton.
My replacement CAMRA card and beer tokens are on the way.

Too cold to sit out.
Drinking Welsh and sitting in the Window. If for no other reason than to watch the world go by and get good ThreeUK reception.

3.3/5. Seems like a Spring Ale in between Winter heavy ale and a Summer light ale. A sign of better and warmer weather ahead.
Moving on to The Lamb - Newport via a tray of Fine Chips from The Harbour Fishbar, no relation to the Temby Brewery.
