Lolffest 14 - Bragdy Twt Lol
I missed the last two lolffests, for no better reason than I had already booked Beanos away when they were announced. So, it’s good to go back to Bragdy Twt lol, even if it’s still very Winter like outside. Luckily I have my Twt Lol Pretty Fly Hoodie on.
Starting in the Malcolm Uphill with a Pint of Caron Lân from Purple Moose, let over from the St David’s day menu. Unfortunately, non of the Spring Spoons Beer Fest beers are on early. I was a bit of a long shot anyway.
Prep for Lolffest 14
I’m hoping the footbridge over the Taff to the top end of the Treforest Industrial Estate has been reopened. It’s a bit of a long walk around if it isn’t. Issues with World Time on my watch and then a half of Old Hookie.
And the bridge is back.
Arriving early, far too early again and of course it was raining. However, it wasn’t long before the Brewery was open and the Ffesting was in full swing. I was of course sitting in the corner, uploading like the wind.
LolFfest’s have to have an overcast sky
Cask and Keg. A one off for St David’s Day and guest ale from Otley (Bunch of Grapes). I brought my own glass and hoodie, just to be safe.
Luckily I’m over 25
Sticking to Cask because I’m CAMRA
The first Pint Cooper Dragons, a one off for St David’s Day. I added it to Untappd and then I have to edit it as it wasn’t bilingual. However, B++.
5.5% ABV to start
Where the is Cwrw / Beer / Bier there is always a quick visit tom the toilet. The superior decorated toilet.
To the side of the toilet, not behind it.
The guest Ale brewed at the Bunch of Grapes just up the road. Drinking very LocAle.
Otley 03 Boss returns
03 Boss on gravity
Despite the inclement weather, it filled up quite quickly and Big Phil arrived to help out with sales.
