The Tumble Inn - Pontypridd

This Spoons is the beating heart of Pontypridd, well sort of.  Once described, by me, as “An Eclectic Mix Of Valley Folk” and it certainly is.  A Lloyds Bar, which is your standard Wetherspoon that sometimes has a DJ and the toilets, are of course, up in The Gods. Nicely positioned close to the Railway Station and the Bus Stops that serve the Railway Station, it is easy to see why it always has a lively clientele.   

What makes this Spoons different for me, is their staff. Both past and present.  I feel that generally Wetherspoon’s staff are not a bad bunch. However, The Tumble has always had staff, at all levels, that go that little bit further. From passing the time of day when the bars isn’t to busy, to smiles and hello / goodbye when you arrive / leave. That’s just the way pubs should be.

Throw in, the prices are some of the best around, even for Wetherspoons and I get asked ordering recommendations, it’s a winner. Also, it still has the Secret Garden, post Rhona.
