Beers Of The Beano - Saturday 12 October 2024

The Coach in Bridgend is having a semi authentic Oktoberfest today. Good idea I thought, I’ll jump on the train. However, no trains between Rhymney and Cardiff, rail replacement buses. Cardiff to Bridgend via the Vale line, no trains, rail replacement buses and Cardiff to Bridgend direct, track works, revised schedule and rail replacement buses. Public transport, not really for the Public.

So, it’s Caerphilly, The Malcolm Uphill, for the Spoons Autumn Beer Fest (AM) and The Project (PM)
