Beers Of The Beano - Thursday 27 June 2024

This turned out to be a long lunch more than a Beano. This is what happens when you overdo it on the Curry. Probably more do to the half and half.

Hot Summer ends just the day after it started.  It’s cooler and windy Thursday. Three Cucumber Plants planted out and some Guardsman Spring Onion sown.  Gentle watering with the 10 Litre watering can was employed.  

It was one of those days when I thought I would be too late for the bus.  I made it three minutes before it was due and the bus arrived three minutes late.

Caerphilly and Wetherspoon’s really do flowers well. Couldn’t get my usual spot, so it was behind the bar amongst the screaming babies. Oh, the joy. I certainly needed a Fine Ale to numb all the screaming.

At 5.1% ABV it certainly helped.

When your favourite Bar Man is on his penultimate shift and you now get four Bhajis instead of two as an add on.  Half and Half and feeling stuffed but I finished it all.  Reddit has been in touch.  

Twice the Bhajis but at half the size. However, a slice of Lemon. Plenty of Mango Chutney and Vinegar. Good Thursday Times.
