Jeffrey Hudson Bitter - Oakham Ales - 3.8% ABV. Nearly B+ and a bit, soft, fruity, hoppy and citrus. Refreshing with a gentle bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

Trying something a little different, The Carpenters and its battle as to who is the oldest Pub in town. I was the first one in for the day.
As history’s go, this is a rather good one. Mostly Keg but a nice variety of Ales. Camden Town to start for me.

Hot but with a cooling wind it was on to The Pen and Wig, you know for Cask and CAMRA discount.

Jester Brew 6 Mango IPA - Goffs Brewery - 5.0% ABV. B+ and a bit, fruity, Mango, bittersweet with a lingering fruity bitter finish #ale #beer #bier
3.3/5. Moved on to The Pen and Wig as I needed some Cask and they are completely on the case. Hot out, refreshing in #Newport
Then on to the Harbour Fish Bar for a tray of chips. Much warmer now. Straight down the hill to The Lamb as I was too hot and bothered to try out the new Pinball place.
Now open at 10:00
Earlier opening, now with food too. Need to chat with the owner about having a greater variety of Craft Ales. What they have is very good but there has been very little new on, since they opened.

The review
Denim Demon - Misfit Brew - 4.5% ABV. B++, hazy and very murky. Kveik Yeast and all the better for it. Fruity with hints of earthiness #ale #beer #bier
3.5/5. Norway and Ukraine together. Steamy hot outside, gently cool inside #Newport
Stayed there for a while and then wandered off into the heat.
