Beers Of The Beano - Wednesday 03 July 2024

Wednesday is a great day to take off.  Mac Break Weekly for the Podcasts and when I go back to work it’s downhill all the way to the weekend.  Grey and rainy, a good day for my Potatoes and the lawn which got a feed on Sunday.

Ten Beans on the Costa Coffee app, so it was a free large latte. But, £3.99 for a Bacon Role, that’s rather expensive.  Sitting in the window, watching the rain.

Fine Ales and Fast WiFi in The John Wallace Linton from 08:00. Heavier rain falling.

The review

Bonville Pale - Hop Union - 4.0% ABV. B+ and a bit, light, malty, hoppy with some citrus fruit and a gentle bitter finish #ale #beer #bier

3.3/5. Gentle Summer Ale in the Gentle Summer, February rain ☔️. Monitoring the election with this Ale from Bristol.

Where would I be without Podcast (via Overcast) and CAMRA discount beer vouchers.

Then the Barman from The Malcolm Uphill and Hoptropolis.

The review

Cask had only just come on and it’s lovely. The rain has stopped too. It’s turning into a Beano Plus day. B++ #ale #beer #bier

It’s doing the rounds. It was in The Tumble Inn - Pontypridd on Monday.

Next in the now returned rain, The Pen and Wig.

Who knew? There’s an election?

Post Harbour Fish Bar tray of Chips. Still awaiting The Grey Trees Keg.

A pint of cooking for lunch.
