Beers Of The Beano - Saturday 29 June 2024
Less of a Beano, more of Saturday lazing around the house. Lawn mowed, plants watered. Now catching up on my blogging and drinking Fine Ales (mostly). Sort of reminds me of Rhona weekend.
The review
Twisting My Lemon Man - Salt - 4.0% ABV. B+, malty, citrus and lemony. Gentle fruity, bitter finish. A bit thin #ale #beer #bier
3/5. Apparently based on Hooch but without it's metallic taste. Interesting but not one I would go out to find again
The review
Girl From Mars - Buxton / Brithop - 4.8% ABV. B++, superb brew made with Harlequin hops. Fruity, hoppy, hint of summer sweetness and alight peppery, bitter finish #ale #beer #bier
3.5/5. A session NEIPA made with British Hops that really works. Sessionable and refreshing. Off the shelves of my local Tesco.
Sometimes Saturday afternoons stretch into Sunday mornings. Sometimes you need some quality refreshment on a Sunday morning. i raided the fridge and continued blogging. Even though Summer has turned rather grey.
The review
