The John Wallace Linton - Newport

My Wetherspoons of choice in Newport, there are two and The John Wallace Linton is in the town centre, just across the road from the Railway Station. It opens at 08:00 and the bar also opens at this time too.

It gets quite busy, even early on, especially as the both the Railway Station and the long distance Coach stops are just across the road and travellers like food and drink pre journey.

There is one long bar but it is split in the middle by a large pillar. The bar staff tend to work from the bar area furthest from the door. The WiFi is fast with Full FTTC speeds, although it is currently down.
