The Pen and Wig - Newport

The Pub and a Free House for Cask Ale in Newport. CAMRA members with their membership cards can get a discount on Ales.  Always a great welcome with an ever changing variety of local Real Ales.

It opens at 10:00 and the bar is open at that time as well.  They do food as well with it being served all day until 21:00.  Now painted white on the outside but it used to be Pink and it also used to have a Bar Billiards table.

Carpark and beer garden to the rear. It has WiFi which occasionally can be very good (half FTTC) and at other times unjoinable.  Favourite Newport Pub of mine.
